Many of you may have seen the Hambleden Valley line at shows, mostly run by live steam. This Video of their ‘secrets‘ is very interestingband and shows how operating can be done with live steam in our scale.
Just stumbled on the YT vid of Bernard Dëluar’s French line, as nice a piece of French Metre gauge as you are ever likely to see in the garden. His modest sized but perfect line has featured regularly over the years in Voi Libre including the build of the superb viaduct. Pretty well all if his midelling in the mag has been well described and eminently dooable even for the ham fisted.
This popped up on YT today, interesting for anyone with small scale sit-on aspirations. loco is barely 1 metre long and 1/2 wide. Would love to know the curve radius, but I reckon 8ft or a bit less possibly. Oh beginning is lots of chat but movement seen later in the vid from 2.20 on this just over 5 minute vid.
